1950s Dress & Jacket Set – Petty Hite Fashions

A circa 1950s dress and jacket set by Petty Hite Fashion. The set is comprised of a lightweight silk shantung in a deep navy blue. The dress design features a rounded neckline accented by floral crochet lace, short cap sleeves, diamond gusset underarm construction, a pleated front waist, an A-line skirt silhouette and a side metal zipper closure. The jacket design features a rounded notch collar and angular lapels, a peplum style waistline, a hook and eye closure at the waist and 3/4 length sleeves with cuffs. The set also includes a matching fabric belt with notches.
